Getting started with JS
Now that you're done with HTML and CSS, you've entered the JavaScript section in the course\tutorial that you chose and you feel scared, doubting yourselves. The truth is, nothing is easy in life and this is true for JavaScript as well, but you don't need to worry. You'll be able to grasp all the basic concepts like variables, constants, strings and arrays etc easily. There is no rocket science involved. Although there are a few places where you might get stuck but trust me with a lil bit of practice and reading blogs\watching tutorials you'll eventually figure it out.
The Learning curve
JavaScript appears to be hard to most people because of it's long list of concepts. We need to realise that it'll just take a lil bit longer to learn JavaScript but it isn't forever. This is subjective because every individual learns things differently, at different speeds. For some it may take a few days, for others it may be months or a year, but it is possible to learn.
"Rome wasn't built in a day."
No new born speaks on the first day of birth except JESUS(PBUH). It'll take some time but the end result will be fruitful if you are consistent enough. And I can say this cause I'm learning JavaScript and documenting this whole process. I must admit that so far it's going well.
Tips for ya'll
- If something doesn't make sense break it down into smaller pieces and practice\revise the concepts once in a while.
- Learn in public.(Post your learnings on any social media platform.)
- Read blogs and follow like minded people on social media who are few steps ahead of you.
Conclusion
Be patient, and don't panic when you're stuck take it slowly and steadily. Happy Coding to ya'll. Peace ๐๏ธ.
